The Help

Today, I watched a movie titled The Help. Love the story with totally vintage settings, vintage car, vintage clothes and stuff’s. This story is about the discrimination between the white people to the black people in Missisippi, U.S.A. As third class citizen, black women work as maid and treated badly by their employers even though they done a good work and raised the kids perfectly. Besides that, there’s a huge gap between them. They can’t share the public transports, church, and even the toilets. If they do so, they can be caught by the police, got killed, or got fired from their job. But then the perception towards them changed after a white young lady wrote a story about them and published it into a book. Now, Barack Obama is a U.S President. The conclusion is racism will fade away through times. But the truth is, we can sit together, but we think separately.
